Due to the scare of the Bay of Bengal originated cyclonic storm, the coastal people have taken shelter in the shelters. During this hard time a new ‘eve’ was born in the Mithakhali cyclone center of Mongla. The new born baby has been named ‘Bulbuli’. The pretty baby has been named commemorating the special event of Bulbul thrashing.
On Saturday (Nov.9) night when every body was passing sleeplessness night caused by the fear of the cyclone Bulbul then at that moment the new born came to this earth at Mitakhali shelter camp of Mongla.
It is learnt that the new baby was born to one Hanufa Begum at ATC government primary school center. It is also learnt that the baby was named Bulbuli after Bulbul. The father of the new born Bayazid Sikdar has named the baby.
Mongla UNO Md. Rahat Mannan told barta24.com that when came to learn about the pregnant Hanufa Begum in this inclement weather. Then one nurse from Mongla family planning office and one doctor from Upazilla Health Complex were sent to the camp. However the doctor could not go there due to storm but the baby was born by the nurse. However the doctor reached there after the storm weakens. New born baby and her mother Hanufa begum are in good condition. Doctors are engaged to look after them.
Learning the incident, the deputy commissioner of Bagerhat, Mamunur Rashid presented the poor family of Bulbuli with Taka 20 thousand as a gift.
