The schedules of all trains of West zones have become upset. Benapole Express, Kurigram Express are running in late by 8 hours of the schedule time.
On Sunday (Nov.17) morning visiting the Kamalapur rail station it was learnt that Dhumketu Express from Rajshahi was supposed to reach the capital at 4-50 A.M. But the tentative time of reaching the time has been given now 9 A.M. Benapole Express was supposed to leave the leave the capital on Saturday 12.40 P.M.(night). Now its tentative leaving time is 8.50 A.M. Kurigram Express may leave Kamalapur station 6.25 mornings instead of Saturday 10.45 nights.
Similarly Sundarban Express was supposed leave the capital at 6-45 morning but now it will move in late of 3.30 miniutes at 9.50 A.M.
Due to schedule break down the passengers from Dhaka to Rajshahi, Jashore, Khulna bound have been facing untold sufferings. The passengers of Kurigram Express of 10-50 Saturday night were found passing sleepless night on the platform with families.
Passenger of Kurigram Express Monwar Ali told barta24.com that he arrived at Kamalapur station 10.30 A.M. of Saturday night to avail the train of 10.45 night. After coming over here he came to learn that there is no surety of coming and going of the train. So the morning has arrived waiting for the train.
Not only Benapole or Kurigram Express but all the trains of West zone are running in late by 3 to 8 hours.
