Ambassador and the permanent representative of Bangladesh to UN said that ‘understanding’ can play an important role in solving the humanitarian problem like Rohigya crisis.
He made this comment on Tuesday(Nov.19) in a reunion affairs meeting of ‘International peace and to protect it’ organized at the UN headquarter, New York.
In the meeting he laid stress on creating a strong environment in Rakhaine. Momen said Rohingya and the rest part of Myanmar and the Myanmar authority should initiate discussion on the basis of dialogue.
At this time he mentioned about the Chattogram Hill peace Treaty of 1997 and mentioned about the several other models.
He called upon the Myanmar authority to ensure accountability and justice for violating International Human laws and Human rights laws.
The permanent representative also called upon the protection council to help reunion of Rohingya population with Myanmar society for sustainable peace.
He said that the Protection council must ensure safe environment for Rohingyas in Rakhaine for solving the main problem of Myanmar.
