ACC files case against former Biman MD & four others

Anti-Corruption Commission filed case against four incumbent and former Biman officials for violating rules in recruiting cadet pilots in 2018.

For alleged irregularities and corruption on Monday (Nov.25) Assistant Director of Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) Saiful Haque lodged the case.

In the FIR it has been said that with ulterior motive of showing nepotism to some candidates former Managing Director(MD) of Biman Bangladesh Airlines Abul Munim Mosaddik Ahmed and four former and in service high officials committed the corruption.

The accused are former Biman MD & CEO Abul Munim Mosaddik Ahmed, director (flight operation) Captain Farhat Hassan Zamil, former director (admin) Partha Kumer Pandit (present principal of Bangladesh Airlines Training Center) and Manager of Biman (appointment) Fakhrul Hossain Chowdhury.

ACC Assistant Director Saiful Islam filed the case with the ACC integrated Dhaka district office.
