Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen has said he is ignorant of the ‘push-in’ through the borders with India reported in the media.
“I’ve no idea about the push-in through the borders. I’ve seen the news on it in newspapers. But I haven’t received any official news,” he said on Tuesday (Nov 26).
The minister was speaking at the opening session of the two-day CACCI conference at Pan Pacific Sonargaon hotel in the capital.
He said Bangladesh has nothing to be worried about the National Registration of Citizens (NRC) as “India has assured us repeatedly that it is their internal matter and won’t create any problem for Bangladesh.”
