Investigation by Anti-Corruption Commission(ACC) against Bangladesh Cricket Board(BCB) director Mahbub Anam is going on for amassing huge illegal wealth beyond his known source and also laundering money by misappropriating crores of Taka through illegal transaction of money, irregularities in tenders and selecting sponsors by influencing illegally.
ACC is in apprehension that the accused Mahbub Anam might leave the country. ACC has written to Special Branch of Police so that he cannot leave the country.
On Thursday(Nov.28) the I.O. and deputy director of ACC Md. Monjur Alam signed letter was sent to the Special Police Super of (Immigration).
