A double-decker bus of government-run Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) has caught fire in front of Kurmitola General Hospital in the capital.
Duty officer at fire service control room Sohag [one name available] told Barta24.com that the fire incident happened on Saturday (Dec 7) afternoon.
Two firefighting units were working to douse the blaze, he said.
Fire service officials said the fire might have originated from overheated engine of the vehicle. No casualty was reported in the incident.
They said another bus of Trust Paribahan caught fire at Karwanbazar the same day.
