The minorities of Bangladesh have become disappointed at the just passing of National Registration of Citizens(NRC) bill in the Indian parliament and also bracketing Bangladesh with Pakistan and Afghanistan mentioning repression on the minorities in three counties.

In an interview with Voice of America (VOA), the top most forum of the country Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist- Christian Oikkya Parishad General Secretary Advocate Rana Das Gupta said that after passing of the NRC bill in Indian Lokshava, the repressors on the minorities including Hindus will be encouraged here.

Advocate Rana also criticized the initiatives of Indian NRC on the basis of religion. Mr. Gupta expressed his negativity in that interview. Because the bill based on religion has really disappointed us, he said. It is fact owing to repression many Hindus left the country but now the rest will be encouraged to go.

As a result if Bangladesh a country without minority then the elements who ventured to make Bangladesh- a Muslim state in 1971 will be encouraged now to drive out the minorities to materialize their dream. Rana Das Gupta observes that the communalism cannot be solved through communal measures. Dividing religious communities in country problems can never be solved.
