Dhaka- Bogura vehicle movement suspended due to crack on a bridge

From Kamalapur Railway station: The Dhaka- Bogura road transport has been suspended following a crack developed to Bhuyangati bridge under Raiganj of Sirajganj district. So the Northern region people has become totally dependent on railway service. As a result pressures have increased on the North moving trains. 

Such a picture was seen at Kamalapur railway station on Friday(Dec.20), which is a holiday. All trains moving towards northern regions were seen rush of passengers.  There is no ticket of these trains for today and tomorrow. Many passengers were seen returning without getting tickets. 

After vesting Kamalapur railway station it was perceived that due to suspension of express bus service from the capital towards Northern region the passenger pressure has mounted. Particularly in the morning shift trains of Neel sagar Express, Rangpur Express and Ekota Express there no seat vacant. However, many took standing tickets. 

One Parbatipur bound passenger Murad Hassan told barta24.com that for comfortable and safe journey we always prefer to train journey. Except Eid festival, we do not face any hassle for tickets. But today it is a different picture that put me into some problem. However after much try one ticket has been managed.

One Rangpur bound passenger Mohammad Shamim told barta24.com that due to foggy weather the road journey is risky so I have preferred train. Today the rush is huge. As tickets weree procured earlier so I did not have to face problems.

One frustrated Lima Sarkar who did not get a ticket told barta24.com as I did not get a ticket of Banalata Express so I am going back.

Kamalapur station manager Mohammad Aminul Haque told barta24.com that now a days ther is always pressure in the trains but the pressure has mounted for the last two days due to problems in a bridge on Dhaka – Bogura highway.
