In separate messages both the President and Prime Minister said that the sad demise of Sir Abed is an irreparable loss to the country as well as to the people. They expressed sympathy to the bereaved family of Sir Abed.
It may be be mentioned here that the founder of BRAC Sir Fazle Hassan Abed breathed his last at capital's Apollo Hospital on Friday night. He was 83.
