The temperature has increased across the country as the sun has appeared after five days ending a shivering cold spell.
The sun started to peep through the cloud and fog on Monday (Dec 23) morning increasing the temperature and brining relief to public life. The temperature rose further towards noon.
Meteorologists forecast further rise in the temperature on Monday.
“The temperature might increase by 1-3 degrees Celsius on the day. However, there might be light to moderate rain on Dec 25 or 26 in different parts of the country pushing the temperature down again,” he said.
Meteorologists say the country might experience another cold wave in the first week of January when the mercury will dropped substantially.
