On Thursday, the lowest temperature in the country was 11.2 degrees Celsius in Tetulia in Panchagarh and the maximum temperature was 28 degrees Celsius in Dhaka.

Meteorologist Omar Farooq told barta24.com, "There has been less rainfall throughout the country. In the capital next Saturday, there may be rain or thunderstorms. In addition, the rainfall is expected to drop across the country from next Monday (Jan. 6). The sky may remain cloudy at this time. Dense fog can also be found. The temperature may drop to 2-3 degrees Celsius. '

He further said, "Cold wave can sweep over the country from Sunday. After a few days, it may be normal again. But later this month, another cold wave could blow over the country. This can increase the intensity of winter.'

Cloudy skies

Meanwhile, the farmers are happy that it suddenly rains during the winter season. They say it's time to plant onion. So the land also has to be prepared. At this time, irrigation is needed. Night temperatures may decrease slightly throughout the country and day temperatures may decrease by 2-4 degrees Celsius. Wind velocity in Dhaka can be accelerated by 8-15 km per hour from east or northeast.
