Chief Coordinator of National Implementation Committee of the celebration of the birth centenary of Bangabandhu said that through creating a symbolic environment at 5 PM of January 10 marking the home coming day of the Father of the Nation the count down will begin by landing a plane at Tejgaon National parade ground.
On January 10, 1072 Bangabandhu returned to the newly independent and sovereign Bangladesh and got down from the plane at 5 pm. Remembering that day, at 5pm, the 4J aircraft of Bangladesh Air Force will land at the parade ground, with the start of Mujib year.
Chief Coordinator of National Implementation Committee Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury said this at a meeting of the Coordination Committee celebrating the Mujib Bars at the International Mother Language Institute Auditorium on Tuesday (January 7).
He said that after the inauguration of Bangabandhu's birthday, the celebration of Mujib Barsho will be officially started on March 17, at 12.01 pm. On that day, the birthday ceremony will be held at the parade ground where more than 2 lakh people will attend.
Kamal Abdul Nasser Chowdhury also said that efforts are underway to assemble those people who were present on that day at the airport to receive Bangabandhu.
Coordination meeting was also attended by Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen, Expatriates Welfare Minister Imran Ahmed, State Minister for
Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam and former Foreign Minister Abul Hasan Mahmud Ali.
