DU university discipline committee has recommended permanent expulsion of 63 students on charge of involvement in admission fraud. Besides, 9 more students have been asked to explain within seven days along with issuance of show cause notice.
On Tuesday (Jan. 14) university proctor Professor AKM Golam Rabbani has confirmed it.
He informed that it will be finalized in the next syndicate meeting. It was decided to permanently expel 63 students while nine were temporarily expelled.
Proctor said the expelled students faced the charges of admission fraud, money laundering, snatching, arrest with arms and attack on the journalists on different occasions.
