Fire incident occurs in a Mirpur slum

An incident of fire took place in the Chalantika slum of Mirpur area. Fifteen units of Fire Services worked there to douse the fire.

In the small hours of Friday (Jan.24) at 4.12 the fire incident took place.  

Ershad Hossain, duty officer of Fire Service & Civil Defense confirmed it to barta24.com.

The fire originating from unknown sources immediately engulfed the whole slum area. However, the fire was brought under control at 5.45 mornings. The cause of the fire is yet to ascertain.
