Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina made a video of the progress of the Padma Bridge through the helicopter window. Such a video was posted on social media Facebook by PM’s deputy press secretary Ashraful Alam Khokon.
Posting the video on her personal Facebook profile, Khokon wrote, 'The dream Padma Bridge is turning into reality today. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the dreamer and the craftsman of this dream bridge has seen the bridge with deep respect and love.’
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina went to attend a joint session of the Awami League Working Parliament and Advisory Council in Tungipara, Gopalganj on Friday (Jan. 24).
On the way back, she was overwhelmed by the work of the Padma Bridge from helicopter. During this time, he made a very close video of the progress of the much-desired bridge.

The 22nd span was installed last Thursday (Jan. 23) on the Pillars 5 and 6 at the Mawa ends of the Padma Bridge. Through the 22nd span, the Padma Bridge is visible by 3300 meters.
Project sources said that the 23rd span of the Padma Bridge will be installed on January 31. After the set of that span, the bridge will be visible about 3,500 meters. The 21st span of the Padma bridge was laid on January 14.
Three spans of Padma Bridge will be installed every month. It will be possible to install all 41 spans in next July. It is expected that the traffic movement will begin in July of next year. The length of the main bridge is 6.15 kms.
