From JS Bhavan: Health and family welfare minister Zahid Malek said scanners were installed at sea ports, land and airports to prevent the Coronavirus.
He said the manpower has been increased to prevent Coronavirus. When a passenger arrives at any port, we can identify if he has Coronavirus in his body through a scanner by measuring his body temperature.
He said this while taking part in a general discussion on the President's speech in the Jatiyo Sangsad session on Sunday (Jan. 26) afternoon.
The Health Minister said, "We have arranged public awareness to prevent the Coronavirus." I have also called an inter-ministerial meeting. Those arriving at the airport will be given a form, which will have to fill in and then a card will be given to them. If they later become ill, we will be able to identify them. In the meantime, I have made treatment arrangement; I have also created quarantine area. I have given this instruction all over the country.
He said mental health care is important in the country. The mentally ill commits various wrongdoings.
