Thanks to the citizens for keeping confidence on Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP). DMP Commissioner Shafiqul Islam said the DMP's only goal is to earn the trust of the citizens.
He said this at a function on Saturday (Feb. 8) afternoon at the Dhaka Metropolitan Police Headquarters
Shafiqul Islam said, we have tried for 4 years to become the police of the people. A policeman has nothing except confidence and love. We have tried to earn the trust and love of the citizens of the capital city. And every policeman is working towards that goal, I believe.
Speaking as the chief guest, IGP Dr. Jabed Patwari said that DMP members have been working for 24 hours of the week to keep Dhaka city safe. We are trying to make every police station in Dhaka a center of trust and confidence. We want people to come to the police station for service, to return with a smile when returning.
At this time IGP, Dr. Javed Patwari, inaugurated the rally on the occasion of 45 years of DMP's glorious service. The rally ended at the Rajarbagh police line beginning from Dhaka Metropolitan Police Headquarters.
