First Bangladeshi in Singapore infected with Coronavirus

A 39-year-old Bangladeshi citizen has been infected with Coronavirus in Singapore.

Singapore-based news media CNA reported Sunday (Feb. 9) quoting the country's health ministry.

The CNA said the victim had not traveled to China in recent times. Coronavirus infection symptoms appeared on his body on February 1. On February 3, he was admitted to a local clinic. He was admitted to the hospital on February 5. He was transferred to the ICU on February 7.

After some tests, doctors confirmed the Coronavirus in the body of the Bangladeshi citizen and transferred him to a separate ward.

Before being admitted to hospital, Bangladeshi citizen traveled to Mustafa Center and stayed at Leo dormitory on Kaki Bukit Road.
