No artist has geographical limitation. Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen has commented that they are immortal in the world.
He made the remarks while addressing as the chief guest at an exhibition of paintings of Bangladeshi and Sri Lankan held at the National Museum on Saturday (Feb. 22) evening.
The Foreign Minister said, we observed our immortal Ekushey February on Friday. Day after Amar Ekushey, this is a great event. This is joint venture of the creative artists with creative works both from Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Art is a major manifestation, its application is universal. We have seen the strong impact of the artist's small cotton swabs. Here I saw pictures of Artists of Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. There is certain diversity in them.
He further said, in the foreign policy of Bangladesh we want to stand more and more in people to people contact. Then the enmity amongst us will go away.
The minister said, I thank the organizers especially for their dedication to the birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
