Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen said, coronavirus will create impact on the presence of foreign dignitaries in the celebration of Mujib Borsho. However, the government is very much aware and about the matter. Simultaneously we have various kinds of preparations to tackle the virus.
He said this while talking to journalists at Sylhet MAG Osmani International Airport on Saturday (March 7).
Momen said the coronavirus caused widespread panic all over the world. However, due to the virus, the schedule of any of the foreign guests invited to the Mujib Borsho has not yet been cancelled.
Former Sylhet-2 constituency MP Shafiqur Rahman Chowdhury, district Awami League general secretary Nasir Uddin Khan, City Awami League general secretary Zakir Hossain, Sylhet Sadar Upazila council chairman Ashfaq Ahmed were present at the time.
