What Emran of Chandpur tells about coronavirus in Italy?

Coronavirus is seen in horror in Facebook but reality is not so- said Emran Hossain, a resident of Hajiganj Upazila in Chandpur recently coming from Coma of Italy.

In the evening of Monday (March 9) the people of his area got panicked after seeing him. He returned home after scanning coronavirus at Shahjalal Airport in the capital at 9 am last Sunday.

‘Scanning was done at the Italian airport once, and then in Dhaka," Emran told barta24.com. I have no virus in my body. Five more Bangladeshis have come with me. Their home is in Madaripur district.'

About the coronavirus in Italy he said, "The prevalence of the virus is high in Milan. I live in the neighboring Coma town. However, no such virus was detected in Coma. Since there was no work there, I decided to come home.'

Meanwhile, a sixty-year-old man of north Chandpur returning from Italy was admitted to hospital on suspicion of being infected by coronavirus of Chandpur on Monday afternoon. Currently he has been kept in quarantine at the hospital. He returned home from Italy last Thursday (March 5).

Hospital sources said that IEDCR, Dhaka has been informed about the old man.  From there people will come to collect different types of samples. Then at the end of the examination, it can be ascertained whether the elderly was infected with coronavirus or not.
