Thirteen people were killed and several others were injured when a Lagoona collided head on Chattogram- Cox’s Bazaar highway under Lohagara upazilla in the night of Saturday (March 21).
The accident occurred at Chunti part of the highway at 9.45 PM. The dead or injured could not be identified.
Officer in charge of Lohagara police station Zakir Hossain has confirmed the accident to barta24.com.
OC said that, ‘we are now in rescue operation. So far 13 bodies have been recovered.’
