A 21-day lockdown continues in India due to the coronavirus pandemic across the world. For various reasons, Bangladesh is thinking of bringing back the Bangladeshis by special flights who have been stuck in India.

Foreign Minister Dr.AK Abdul Momen told barta24.com on Sunday (March 29) that many people in India are trapped in India due to coronavirus. We are working on how to bring them back. Soon they will be brought back to the country.

The Bangladeshis are willing to return at their own expense. We will bring them back on a special flight, he said. The hotline number has been given to the Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi on this issue.

Those who will come back have to be in quarantine for 14 days, the minister added.
