Prime Minister's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim said the news that the government's relief supplies would only be distributed by the army and navy in the emergent coronavirus situation was untrue and fabricated.
He told in a statement on Friday (April 3), quoting as a news source appeared on various news channels from Prime Minister’s meeting on Thursday.
In the statement, he said that no such decision was made at a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Ihsanul Karim said, ‘from now on, only the army and the navy will distribute relief supplies provided by the government’ – such news was circulated in this regard has caught our attention.’
This news is completely untrue and fabricated.
