Meghna Group of Industries (MGI) has handed over 15,000 masks to RAB to be used by RAB officials and 2,000 bags containing essential foods tobe distributed to the people with the help of RAB.
Mr. Mostafa Kamal, Chairman and Managing Director of Meghna Group of Industries handed over the mask and essential foods to Mr. Benazir Ahmed, Director General of RAB on April 8, 2020.
Each bag of essential foodscontained4 kg atta, 1 kg pulse, 1 kg salt and 1 liter soybean oil. Earlier, MGIdonated 5 Crore taka to Prime Minister's Relief Fund to fight against Corona and also donated 25,000 packs to the people that need it the most in Narayanganj, Cumilla, Rangpur, Tangail, Jashore, Khulna,Shariatpur and other districts through District Commissioners, UNOs and local representatives.
