There is a famous saying about helping people - 'If you help someone in right hand, do it so that your left hand cannot not know it'. But what are we seeing now? While giving a handful of rice, the ‘lords (Kartababu)’ is busy with the huge poster of his own image with smiling face to help the helpless to become great ‘charitable man’!

Instead of being humane at this time of need, the 'lords' is spreading inhumane behavior. The humanitarian walls of the Mohammadi Housing Society in the capital are proving that this practice of donation is very unnecessary.

There are fifteen hooks in the wall, called humane walls. Where a bag of essential food items has been hung with each hook. Those who need they are taking to meet the needs of his family. Maybe the scope of the initiative is too small. But this extraordinary initiative to help the destitute and helpless people once again revealed the fact that the people are humane. So far, these food bags have been hung on the human wall for two days.

Each bag contains two kilograms of rice, one kilogram of pulses, 5 kg of potatoes, half kg. of onion and 250 grams of oil. A family of four has at least three days' worth of food in each of these bags on the humane wall. The most surprising thing is that no one is rushing to pick up this bag hanging on the humane wall. All he needs is to come and pick up a bag and leave.

Yes, you are not reading wrong! One does not raise his hand towards the second bag after taking a bag. That is leaving someone in need of help. No slips are required to receive this assistance. The ID card does not have to be shown. You're not hearing from anyone - you can't get help, you're not a voter in this area! The one, who needs it, is coming. He's just carrying a bag of his own.

In the last winter, humanitarian walls were erected in various parts of the capital to help the frosty people. Then the winter clothes hang here. The cold hit people took whatever he needed. Now the need is even greater. To satisfy the hunger. So this support needs to be more humane.

Gram Bangla Unnayan Committee, a private development organization has taken this extraordinary initiative to provide food assistance to this humanitarian wall of Mohammadpur Housing Society. Twenty-one members of the council are donating themselves for this support.  None of them said their names. They only said the name of the organization – ‘development of rural Bengal’.
