Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said that the coronavirus has caused a huge shock and obstruction. But hopefully Bangladesh will move forward by removing the obstacles. The problem that is global, the problem will be solved.

She made the remarks while receiving grants and donations to the Prime Minister's Relief and Welfare Fund via video conference from the Prime Minister's official residence Ganobhaban on Sunday (May 10).

The Prime Minister said people need to have courage in mind when they are sick. Not only sound education but his alertness and dedication too are most required. At the same time, everyone must follow the instructions given by our Department of Health or the instructions given by the World Health Organization. If you can comply, you can be safe.

She said to protect oneself through clean-up. These things should be taken care of not to be together in any big place. Care should be taken not to get infected.

She added that people sometimes become so frightened that many people behave inhumanely. Because when a family member falls ill, it is not right to throw him away, sneeze or push him away without knowing what illness he is suffering from. It is never good for a child to be separated from its parents or for a husband to be pushed away or for a wife to be pushed away from her husband.

However, during the corona period, our law enforcement agencies are performing their duties properly. From burying the body in corona they are cooperating with the patients in various ways, thanks to Chhatra League for cooperating somewhere.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina received checks for donations from 57 organizations, institutions and individuals of the country to her relief and welfare fund in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. Principal Secretary of the Prime Minister's Office Dr. Ahmed Kaikaus accepted the grants, checks on behalf of the Prime Minister.
