Thirteen people were killed when a truck carrying them turned turtle in Gaibandha.
The accident took place in Jundah area of Palashbari upazila on the Dhaka-Rangpur highway around 1.30pm on Thursday (May 21).
However, the names of the victims were not immediately known. Upon receiving the news, members of the police and fire services went to the spot and started the rescue operation.
Palashbari Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Masudur Rahman confirmed the incident and said rescue work was underway at the spot. Details will be informed later.
