Dhaka: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) is conducting raids against counterfeit healthcare materials in the Mitford area of the capital. RAB Executive Magistrate Akhtaruzzaman is leading the operation.
The operation began at noon on Saturday (June 27).
"We had information that counterfeit hand sanitizers, hand rubs and health care products were being sold wholesale in the Mitford area," the RAB Magistrate told Barta24.com after the drive began.
From here, these fake health care products spread to 64 districts of the country. The operation is being carried out on the basis of specific information. We have got some evidence, details will be revealed at the end of the operation, the Magistrate added.
