From now on, all Bangladeshis going abroad will have to go with Corona Negative Certificates. This certificate can be collected by testing the corona from a government approved corona testing center.
On Sunday (July 12) foreign minister A. K. Abdul Momen chaired a special virtual inter-ministerial meeting and took a number of decisions.
The meeting also recommended that the Corona Negative Certificate be uploaded in the website of the concerned institution for the convenience of the immigration authorities. It was also decided to set up a dedicated corona testing center under the Ministry of Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment to facilitate corona testing of migrants for employment.
Minister of Health and Family Welfare Zahid Malek, Minister for Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment Imran Ahmed and State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md. Shahriar Alam participated. Besides, Foreign Secretary Masud bin Momen, Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism Mohammad Muhibul Haque, Secretary of the Ministry of Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment Ahmed Munirus Salehin was connected with the meeting.
