RAB has picked up the son of the owner of Sahabuddin Medical College Hospital in Gulshan on charges of extorting large sums of money by admitting patients to the hospital after showing negative patients- corona positive without having any government approval.
Detained Faisal Al Islam (34) is the managing director (MD) of Sahabuddin Medical College Hospital.
He was arrested on Monday (July 20) night from a hotel in the capital. Senior ASP Sujoy Sarkar of RAB headquarters confirmed the matter to Barta24.com.
Earlier in the afternoon, a case was filed against him at Gulshan police station in the capital. Two more people have been shown arrested in the case. The two are hospital's assistant director Abul Hasnat and inventory officer Shahrij Kabir.
