The Ministry of Education has said that the news about the reopening of educational institutions after Eid ul Azha spread through social media is a rumor.
This information was given in a press release sent by the public relations officer of the Ministry of Education Mohammad Abul Khair on Wednesday (July 22) night.
It said the ‘government was deciding to open the educational institutions after Eid ul Azha, maintaining social distance’, through a Facebook page called the Bangladesh National Board of Education. The news is a baseless rumor. Students are specially requested not to be misled by such false and baseless news.
It further said that whenever the Ministry of Education takes any decision in this regard, the students will be informed immediately through the media.
The Ministry of Education has not yet taken any decision on opening educational institutions after Eid ul Azha. Moreover, there is no board called Bangladesh National Board of Education.
