Bangladesh has reported 48 more deaths from coronavirus (Covid-19) infection in the last 24 hours raising the death toll to 3083, said the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Besides, 2695 tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours raising the total number of coronavirus cases in the country to 234889.
Prof. Dr Nasima Sultana, additional director general of DGHS, came up with the information in an online regular health bulletin about the latest corona situation in the country on Thursday (30.7.20).
In the last 24 hours, 82 coronavirus testing laboratories across the country tested 12937 samples. So far 1164195 samples were tested, Dr. Nasima Sultana added.
In last 24 hours 2668 patients have recovered making total recovery of 132960 Covid patients.
Bangladesh reported its first croronaviurs case on March 8 while first death on March 18.
