Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said that dialogue will be considered if BNP withdraws the conditions.
Referring to the conditions if any dialogue with the BNP is to be held, the general secretary of Awami League said, we have no concern in any dialogue with conditions.
He said these things during an exchange of views with journalists in his office at the Secretariat on Sunday (October 15).
Obaidul Quader said, it will be seen if BNP withdraws their conditions. We have no disagreement with these demands of the BNP for level playing field and peaceful elections.
Obaidul Quader said that there is no disagreement in the five suggestions given by the US pre-election observation team for the sake of fair elections.
He said that the election will be held according to our constitutional provisions. It will be done as other constitutional states choose.
There may be a government during the election. The Prime Minister will decide on this. Whether there will be an ongoing Council of Ministers or not – this will be done when the schedule is announced. Obaidul Quader also said that all the decisions will be given by the Prime Minister.
