The 72-hour blockade program has started on the call of BNP. In support of this blockade on Tuesday morning, the leaders and activists of BNP and its affiliated organizations organized a protest march and picketing from the Dhaka-Narayanganj link road to the signboard.

Rafiqul Islam, Joint Economic Affairs Secretary Mahmudur Rahman Sumon, Narayanganj District Jubo Dal Member Secretary Moshiur Rahman Roni, Narayanganj District Sramik Dal President Montu Member, Narayanganj District Swechchasebak Dal General Secretary Salauddin Salu, Narayanganj District Chhatra Dal General Secretary Zubair Rahman Ziku.
Incidentally, the attack on October 28 grand rally, organized for the sake of protecting the lives and livelihood of the people who are affected by the ongoing rise in commodity prices as a result of ongoing injustice, misrule, unlimited corruption, lawlessness, money laundering and syndicates, killing of activists and release of BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir. The BNP has announced a nationwide blockade today on October 31 and November 1 and 2 to protest against the arrests, house-to-house searches, harassment and torture of thousands of leaders and workers of various protesting parties and to fulfillment one point of demand. At the same time, several parties and alliances including Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Ganatantra Manch, 12-Party Alliance, Nationalist Like minded Alliance, LDP, AB Party have announced and supported the blockade program.
