Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan has commented that the top leaders of BNP cannot avoid the responsibility of the situation of October 28.
He said this after paying tribute to the portraits of the four national leaders at the old Central Jail on Nazimuddin Road in the capital on Friday (November 3) morning.
At that time, in response to a question from the journalists, the Home Minister said that the investigation into the incident of October 28 is going on. If the BNP leaders are found innocent in the investigation, they will be acquitted. Otherwise there will be a charge sheet in their name.
Earlier in the morning, Awami League leaders paid tributes at the graves of four national leaders at Banani graveyard.
After paying tribute, Obaidul Quader said, BNP has once again proved that they are a terrorist group. The bloodshed and violence they have caused in Dhaka is proof of that. After that there is no question of dialogue with this terrorist group.
He said, BNP has some hired men, trained miscreants, with whom they will burn buses, set fire to buses, vandalize them.
