The Jatiya Party(JP) has adopted a completely different approach beyond the conventional norms. And in doing so, the organizational structure of the party has been ridiculed.

It may be said that the central executive committee of the Jatiya Party(JP) is heavily weighed by innumerable posts. Most of which have no specific responsibility. The position of these leaders has become virtually decorative. When given the opportunity to attend a meeting or not, then no task is visible except to stand on the stage and show yourself.

The constitution through which these ornamental posts were created has no clear explanation for these posts. Apart from the specific contribution, no other responsibility was mentioned in the constitution.

No one really knows what the work of the 41 Vice Chairmen is.

The constitution of the Central Executive Committee consists of 41 vice- chairmen followed by 41 Presidium members. After that, there are 16 joint - general secretaries, 31 organizing secretaries and 23 divisional joint general secretaries, 31 joint organizing secretaries, and 23 departmental organizing secretaries.

Last but not least, the number of joint organizing secretary is 31 and the joint divisional secretary is 23. The divisional secretary has 21 posts, and the joint divisional has 23 posts. And there are 91 approved members in the executive member.

Outside of the main constitution structure, there are the main advisers, senior co-chairmen, co-chairmen and joint secretary general, advisory councils and three special committees. The advisory council is right after the Presidium. In this council, the chairman of the party can appoint as many members as possible.

Special committees are: Information Research and Publicity Publishing, Finance and National Planning, Health and Population Control, Local Government and Rural Development, Food and Agriculture, Elimination of Illiteracy, Education Science and Literature, Labor Welfare and Industry, Youth Welfare, NGO Affairs, Employment. And Special Committee on Rehabilitation, Disaster and Relief and Social Development.

In the recently concluded Ninth National Council, in the Constitutional Amendment to the posts of  four co-chairmen and four additional general secretaries have been created outside the constitution. However, these top posts were not added to the party's main constitution. If you want the chairman of the party you can appoint these posts. If you do not feel the need, you may not appoint.

The most ridiculous thing has been the post of the party's chief patron. She has been placed in the highest status of the party chairman. The post was created for opposition leader Raushan Ershad. In her absence the post will automatically be abolished. That is, it is clear that the post was created to comfort her. Although this position has neither responsibility or any duty. She will speak only after the chairman at the meeting. That opportunity has been curtailed at an internal party meeting.
If the chairman deems it necessary, he will consult with her on national and party issues. She has nothing to do with herself. Similarly, the co-chairmen are given the status of the secretary-general of the party and the post-Presidium of the joint secretary-generals, but they have no responsibilities in the organization. There is no specific explanation for the position of responsibility.

A senior leader, on condition of anonymity, told barta24.com that he went to the third floor press section on January 2 to pick up the form for the new central committee. At that time another leader was filling out the form. After calling someone to find out about his position. At this time he used to say out loud, you are sure I am the organizing secretary editor. I'm filling out the form. Look but.

He has been holding an important post as Organizational Secretary for 3 years. But he himself does not know his designation. You may find that there are many more inconsistencies. Such was the case with the outgoing committee. There is no resemblance to any party, or any cooperative society, or social service organization with the new post that has been extended.

Jatiya Party's Secretary General Mosiur Rahman Ranga was questioned, was not the committee heavily weighed by posts? In response, he said, "Of course not."

Why the additional secretary general is needed while there are post of joint secretary general, divisional secretary and organizing secretary of the party. In the previous terms, the responsibility was not clear. Responding to such a question, he said that contrary to the previous terms, the responsibility is clear and the organization will be dynamic.

Regarding co-chairmen Ranga said that I don’t find any problem here. They will work in consultation with the Chairman.
