Bangladesh ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan, who is facing a two-year ban of International Cricket Council (ICC) for concealing a match fixing offer, has arrived at the Anti-Corruption Commission.
The Test and T20 captain of Bangladesh national team, Shakib entered at the headquarters of the anti-graft body around 10am on Sunday, but he did not talk to media representatives.
Though it is not clear why Shakib is at ACC, an official of the Commission said the cricketer has been called to discuss if he should continue as the goodwill ambassador of the anti-graft watchdog after he faced the corruption charge.
The ICC on Oct 29 slapped Shakib with the two-year ban on all forms of cricket for his withholding information on offers by a cricket bookie for match fixing.
