For many reasons Tiger’s India tour is a much discussed matter. It is full of many incidents beginning from the conditioning camp to the end of the first match.

The major occurrences were held just at the beginning of the series.

The strike of the cricketers was a bolt from blue, the Bangladesh cricket became upset. The veil of uncertainty came down on the tour.

Bangladesh’s cricket poster boy Shakib Al Hassan was banned for one year by ICC  from all formats of cricket for concealing three match -fixing proposals by cricket bookie Deepak Agarwal. On the other hand Tamim was already on leave for familial reasons.

So the tigers with a mountainous pressure without Shakib –Tamim reached New Delhi in an adverse weather condition. Due to worst air pollution mixed with smog and ash the Delhi sky was looking like foggy late December.

The smog condition even led to cancellation of the match as demanded by many. Newly installed BCCI president Sourav Ganguly in his first International encounter had to bear the brunt of criticisms from his ex-team mates even.

But Sourav shrug off all the varieties of attack against him as if ‘coming down the line he hit a sixer through the long on’ which he did frequently during his colorful cricket career. The successful ending of Delhi match has greatly lowered the pressures on his nerve, it was observed at the end of match.

In his verified twitter Sourav wrote, ‘Both Bangladesh and India deserve thanks for playing in such tough condition.’ Simultaneously he did not forget to appreciate Bangladesh for their memorable win and he wrote ‘Well done Bangladesh’.

However not only Sourav but at the end of the match the Indian legendary cricketers, running commentators –all congratulated Bangladesh team. They included VVS Lakshman, Irafan Pathan, Akash Chopra, Harsha Bhogley and many others.

Bangladesh now 1-0 leads in 3 match T20I series by defeating India by 7 wickets. Earlier Bangladesh lost to India in all eight encounters.

Next match will be held at Rajkot on November 7.
