Football wizard Diego Maradona is coming to Bangladesh to celebrate the birth centenary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Abu Nayem Sohag, general secretary of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF), confirmed this information to the barta24.com on Tuesday(Dec.31).
Maradona's visit schedule to Dhaka is not yet finalized. The birth centenary of Bangabandhu will be on March 17. So BFF wants to set the date and schedule of Maradona's visit to Dhaka by March. For one to two nights, this football wizard will be in Dhaka. During the visit, he will meet Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
BFF has finalized talks with Maradona's agent about the visit. However, BFF wanted to inform Argentina about the superstar's visit in a press conference.
