Mashrafe recovers but his wife is still positive

Mashrafe bin Mortuza has won the 'battle’' against coronavirus. His latest Corona test result was negative. Mashrafe took the test on Sunday, July 12. He received report on Tuesday, (July 14). Mashrafe himself said he is now corona-free.

His younger brother Morsalin has also recovered. However, Mashrafe's wife Sumi is still positive.

‘I received the report tonight, Mashrafe said.  I urge all to pray for my family. I am grateful to all those who stood by me during these difficult times. '

Regarding his wife Sumi, Mashrafe said, ‘two weeks have passed since she was diagnosed positive, but my wife's coronavirus test report is still positive. However, with the blessings of all, he is physically well. I am praying for her. '

Coronavirus was detected in the body of Narail-2 MP Mashrafe on June 20. Coronavirus is also found in the bodies of his wife and younger brother. All three were treated at their home in Mirpur. Mashrafe sent his two children to their village home in Narail. With treatment at home, Mashrafe has become corona-free.

From the very beginning of the coronavirus disaster, Mashrafe stood by the side of helpless people. He tried his best to keep his constituencies Narail and Lohagarh corona free. He gave services to the patients in mobile ambulances throughout the area. He constantly inquired about the medical facilities of the people of the area. He increased relief activities so that no one suffers from lack of food during disasters.

Mashrafe also took effective measures to ensure the overall safety of doctors, nurses and healthcare workers who have been fighting the coronavirus.

Although he and his family were infected with the coronavirus, Mashrafe kept abreast of the overall situation in Narail and gave necessary instructions accordingly.

Mashrafe thanked the people for praying for him for recovery. Mashrafe is appalled by the way people across the country have prayed for him in this personal crisis. The hero of many victories on the cricket field hopes that the people of Bangladesh will be able to defeat this difficult disease of coronavirus with their collective efforts.
