Bangladesh community in Malaysia celebrates Pohela Boishakh

Bangladeshi Expats in Malaysia (BDEXPAT, www.bdexpat.com) has organized Pohela Boishakh event on 14th April 2019 at YMCA Auditorium in Kuala Lumpur.

The event started with a drawing competition for kids at 11 AM. After that competition, the cultural event started with a welcoming song “Esho he Boishakh”. The cultural event has Kids Fashion Show, group music, group dance, Bangla Cenema themetic Fashion Show, Kids Recitation, Local Band performance (Alpha Q) and guest artist performance.

This year Shadona and Babu from Dhaka came from Dhaka to celebrate with BDExpats members and to sing some of their own and famous cover songs. The event was sponsored by Valyou Online, US Bangla Airlines, Pran, Radhuni, Deshi Bazar, Deshi Food, Carrot. There was 10 booth and among them 6 were selling Bangladeshi Foods.
