Murderers and money launderers will not be spared

Indicating to BNP’s acting chairman Tareque Rahman now staying in London, Prime Minister and Awami League chief Sheikh Hasina said that the murderers and money launderers must get punishment.

In a view exchange meeting held at Taj hotel in London on Thursday afternoon (May 9) she told “we have conducted the trials of the murderers of Bangabandhu and the war criminals. So the murderers and money launderers wherever they try to hide or spend as much money to save themselves they have no excuse. Nation will not forgive them,” she said.

The Prime Minister said that, ‘the courts delivered verdicts against the murderer and money launderer. We will take steps to execute the verdict. They give slogans as much as they can, they can slanders as much as they can , they must be punished.’

The UK unit and its associate bodies organized this view exchange meeting. UK unit president of Awami League Sultan Sharif chaired the meeting.

State Minister for Foreign Minister Affairs Md. Shahriyar Alam was on the dais. The meeting was conducted by UK unit Awami League general secretary Syed Sajidur Rahman.

In an official visit to London Sheikh Hasina is supposed to return to Dhaka on Saturday (May 11)
