Malaysian nonagenarian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohammad will come to Bangladesh. Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen informed that he might come at end of this year or at the beginning of next year.

He informed this on Sunday (July 7) after the foreign ministers level meeting with Malaysian foreign minister Saifuddin bin Abdullah was held at the state guest house Padma.

Abdul Momen said that he (Mahathir Mohammad) is now aged enough still gives hard labor as the Prime Minister. He is a good and trusted friend of Bangladesh. We want that he comes to Bangladesh during the birth centenary celebration of Bangabandhu. Thinking in that line I have extended invitation to him.

It may be mentioned here that the legendary leader of Malaysia took oath as the Prime Minister on May 10 of 2018. Earlier he had been Prime Minister of Malaysia at a stretch for 22 years from 1981 to 2003. He is the man who brought enormous development of Malaysia and helped build Malaysia an economic giant of South East Asia.
