Momen warns the NGOs working in Rohingya camps
Action will be taken against the NGOs working in Rohingya camps if their activities go beyond the terms and conditions, said foreign minister Dr AK Abdul Momen. He also warned Rohingya leader Mohibullah that if he commits any wrongdoings he will have to face punishment.
Dr. Momen told all these while addressing a discussion meeting & Doa Mahfil on National Mourning and the 44th martyrdom anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman held at Hafiz Complex on Friday (August 30).
The foreign minister said that now the Rohingya problem is not an issue of Bangladesh only but a global issue. So everybody should come forward to solve it. The organization which is making arms for the Rohngyas has been identified, he said.
The discussion meeting chaired by Selina Momen and conducted by Councilor Azadur Rahman was addressed among others by former MP Syeda Zebunnessa Haque, Asma Kamran and Naznin Hossain.
Earlier the Foreign minister inaugurated several development projects of Mogolgaon union under Sadar upazilla. Before his election Dr. Momen committed to develop the health and educational facilities of his constituency. Meanwhile the development work of 60 schools has already started.
