Former South Africa coach Russell Domingo arrived in Dhaka on Wednesday to give an interview with the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) for a role as a coach.
The BCB sources said Domingo came here for an interview about the developments of cricket squad. Since the Bangladesh head coach position is currently vacant following Steve Rhodes's departure, BCB may hand Domingo the reigns of the national team for the time being.
Domingo took over as the coach of South Africa T20 side in 2012 before he replaced Gary Kirsten in the remaining formats in 2013. He was in charge of the Proteas till 2017 before Otis Gibson took over in 2017.
