Biden closing to 270 winning in Michigan
Voting has begun Tuesday (November 3) in Covid-19 divested United States. Counting continues in some of the states known as Battlegrounds, even after 24 hours of voting. Democrat candidate former Vice President Joe Biden is fighting alongside incumbent President Donald Trump in the fight for the White House.
Democratic candidate Joe Biden is leading the electoral vote so far, according to US news agencies. According to the AP, Joe Biden is leading with 253 electoral votes. On the other hand, President Trump is getting 214 electoral votes.
Connecticut (7), Delaware (3), District of Columbia (3), Illinois (20), Maryland (10), Massachusetts (11), New Jersey (14), New York (29), Rhode Island (4), Vermont (3), Virginia (13), New California (55), New Hampshire (4), Argeninia (11) and Wisconsin (10) and in Michigan Biden won.
Alabama (9), Arkansas (6), Indiana (11), Kentucky (8), Louisiana (8), Mississippi (6), North Dakota (3), Oklahoma (7), South Dakota (3), Tennessee (1), West Virginia (5), Weming (3), Kansas (9), Ohio (11), Florida (29) and in Texas (38) Trump won.
In addition to his victory in Wisconsin, Democrat candidate Joe Biden is now ahead of Donald Trump in Michigan. However, the other two battleground states, Pennsylvania and Georgia, are ahead of Trump, but there is a fierce battle going on. Meanwhile, the Trump camp has demanded a recount in Wisconsin.
The Trump camp said in a statement that it had filed a lawsuit in the Michigan Court of Claims to stop the vote count until it was guaranteed to be at the polling station.
To be elected President of the United States, at least 270 out of a total of 538 electoral votes must be confirmed. Now Biden is in a much stronger position along the way.
