Lower House impeached Trump making way for shameful exit
US President Donald Trump has been inpeached in the lower house of the US Congress. As a result, before the end of his term, President Donald Trump took another step towards a shameful farewell.
Trump is the first president in U.S. history to be impeached twice. The impeachment motion was passed on Wednesday (Bangladesh time Thursday (January 14) morning) on charges of violence at Capitol Hill.
According to the BBC, 10 Republicans also supported the impeachment motion of the Democratic Party. Republicans voted 198 in favor of Trump and 232 voted against Trump in the House of Representatives.
The proposal, which was passed in the lower house, will go to the upper house of Congress, the Senate. If Trump is found guilty in a Senate hearing, he may be barred from remain as president.
Democrats and Republicans have the same number of senators in the 100 upper house senators. President Trump will step down before his term expires if the impeachment motion is approved by a two-thirds majority. However, the Senate will not rule on Trump's term until the next five days, but the presidency will be completed. But Trump will never be president of the United States again.
