The assembly elections in the Indian state of West Bengal have ended. Eighth round of voting ended on Thursday (April 29). With this, the great festival of one month came to an end. Now it is the turn of waiting for the fate of the ‘Masnad’ of Bengal. And that will be known in the announcement of the results on May 2.

The results of the vote have already begun to come. State politics is in full swing around that result. The Trinamool Congress (TMC) and the BJP are clashing. The results so far indicate that Mamata Banerjee is returning to power for the third time. Although another booth return survey has indicated, the BJP is coming to power. So we have to wait for the last news.

According to a survey by Indian media outlet NDTV, Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress is set to win 156 of the 292 seats in West Bengal. On the other hand, BJP will not get more than 130 seats.

India Today - Axis India survey shows that Trinamool may get 130-156 seats, BJP may get 134-160 seats. In 64 seats, the difference between the Trinamool and the BJP is less than two per cent. As a result, if those seats go to one side, then the party will move towards the formation of the government.

According to a poll published by CNN News 17, the Trinamool is coming to power in the province, the party can get 162 seats. BJP can get 115 seats. The alliance can get 15 seats.

According to most booth return polls, neither the Trinamool Congress nor the BJP will get more than 200 seats as claimed. Rather, the difference in votes between the two parties is so small that the equation could change completely at any time.

West Bengal politics is witnessing a fierce battle surrounding this election. This year's assembly election was a challenge for the TMC. In the face of the vote, Shuvendu Adhikari, a bunch of leaders like Rajiv Banerjee left the Trinamool and joined the BJP. Trinamool appeared to break down.
